Rocking It Old Skool was born from a love of all things old school: and from that love, the realization that the past isn’t gone — it’s just waiting to be rediscovered.

What started in small‑town Nebraska as a simple way to turn my treasure hunting skills into a stable income to support my family, became a quest to rediscover the past-and myself in the process. Over the years, I have come across some amazing collections of vintage toys, collectibles, and clothing. I was able to relive my lost childhood with every cool find, and in turn, begin to build something special.

The turning point came when I stumbled into a long‑closed sporting goods store and found an untouched archive of items from the late 1950s through the early 1990s. Stacks of deadstock athletic wear, team orders that never shipped, colors and cuts that disappeared decades ago — all sitting exactly where time left them. It wasn’t just inventory. It was history. It was a moment frozen in place. A time capsule ready to be reopened. To be rescued.

That discovery became the foundation of Rocking It Old Skool.

Today, the brand is built on the same values that shaped that moment: authenticity, craftsmanship, nostalgia, and the belief that the past deserves to be preserved, not remade. Every item in this archive was made in a different era — an era of heavier cotton, richer color, better stitching, and real character. My job is to bring those pieces back into the world with the respect they deserve. Back to life.
